Teeth Whitening
We offer customized take-home teeth whitening trays, which are filled with whitening gel and worn overnight to eliminate deep dental stains. Most patients apply these treatments at home, although those with particularly dark teeth may receive a start-up treatment in the office. Bright white teeth are important to us here at White Flint, and we offer a free kit with whitening strips to each new patient who comes in for a checkup.
Smile Makeover
We offer the Snap-On Smile®, an instant dental makeover that gives you a beautiful, natural-looking enhancement that is easily reversible. The Snap-On Smile® is custom-made to fit over a patient’s own teeth, covering any aesthetic imperfections. If you wish to achieve an enhanced smile without having to undergo any permanent treatments, a custom Snap-On Smile® can provide you with the dazzling results you desire.
Endodontics
When tooth decay advances to the center of your tooth (the pulp, which consists of nerves and blood vessels), a root canal procedure can salvage the outer structure of the tooth. This virtually painless procedure involves the removal of the pulp using sophisticated technology. Finally, the remaining tooth structure is sealed and restored with a custom dental crown.
Dentures
Today, dentures are more comfortable, functional, and natural-looking than ever before. We use advanced technology to measure the dimensions of your mouth, and the technicians in our trusted offsite laboratory use that data to create dentures that provide you with a restored chewing ability and a natural appearance. We provide traditional full and partial dentures, as well as implant-supported dentures.
Tooth-colored Fillings
As a general and cosmetic dentistry practice, a natural-looking smile is important to us, so we offer tooth-colored composite fillings to our patients. After a tooth is treated for a cavity, a tooth-colored filling can provide the needed support, as well as a natural appearance.
Periodontics
Gum disease affects 80% of Americans, causing sensitive and bleeding gums, halitosis, and receding gums. In severe cases, gum disease can result in tooth loss or loss of jaw bone. Additionally, untreated gum disease has been linked to serious health problems including diabetes and heart disease. At White Flint, we are proud to offer a new and innovative form of periodontal treatment that restores periodontal health and allows many of our patients to avoid surgery. PerioProtect® uses a fitted tray filled with a special solution designed to eradicate bacteria from pockets in the gums. Though the treatment is prescribed in the office, it is administered at home, so patients can control gum disease and avoid build-up of bacteria in between dental visits.
Emergency Dental Treatment
If you have a life-threatening or severe injury, call 911 or go directly to the nearest hospital emergency room. We can treat a variety of traumatic dental injuries, including teeth that have been chipped, moved, or knocked out entirely. Please call our office for assistance.
